MOSCATEL
CHARMING
VITICULTURE:
This naturally sweet wine is made from muscatel grapes from vineyards
controlled by SenorÌo de SarrÌa. The vines are located
in the southern Ribera Baja of Navarre, a superior setting for growing
this grape variety because of its luminosity.
MAKING:
After the crushing, the grapes undergo a low-pressure pressing process
to obtain the free-run juice. The fermentation stops naturally at the
exact moment of desired sugar concentration.
TASTING:
Golden yellowish colour. Clean, clear and bright. Complex and intense
aromas characteristic of the variety. Ample and sugary in the mouth
with a savoury and glycerol-like transition. Aftertaste of raisins,
peach and honey, the aromatic and fruity essence of the Ribera Baja
of Navarre. Serve at 80C (46.40F). Ideal for foie, cured cheeses and
desserts in general.
